Technical Project Manager * Durability Testing

Description
The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating and managing durability testing activities for vehicle programs. This role focuses on organizing testing schedules, supporting cross-functional teams, and ensuring testing programs run efficiently across internal teams, suppliers, and external testing facilities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain the durability testing schedule for vehicle programs.
  • Coordinate durability testing requirements and activities across multiple teams within the organization.
  • Secure and organize testing facilities and logistics, including large off-site durability tests.
  • Work closely with vendors and suppliers who are conducting tests on behalf of the organization.
  • Collaborate with engineers and technicians within the durability team and other departments to support efficient program execution.
  • Maintain and update the daily vehicle tracking matrix and provide weekly progress updates, identifying potential risks and issues.
  • Support Design Verification Plan (DVP) tracking and reporting for component and sub-system durability testing across multiple vehicle programs.

Pay: $72.14 / hr.

Hours: 40 hrs/Week.

Length: Temp (12 months)

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in automotive testing, durability testing, or related vehicle development activities.
  • 2+ years of strong understanding of the automotive testing process for production vehicles.
  • 2+ years of familiarity with industry durability or vehicle testing standards.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree with 3 years of experience.
  • Must know LS-DYNA.
  • Can do pre- and post- processing with the mainstream software.
  • Good oral communication and written report composition skills.
