We are scaling our global technology operations to deliver highly available, secure, and efficient services. As a Platform Engineering Senior Manager, you will help shape our new operations organization while leading two existing teams. Flexibility will be key as teams and responsibilities will shift as this new organization matures.

In addition, this role will championavailability, scalability,resilience,and reliabilityacross cloud and on-premise platforms and influence the broader technology teams to adopt similar standards. The leader will also champion theadoption of modern technologies, includingAI-enabled and automation-first capabilities, to transform operational efficiency and service delivery; simplify and scale. A key accountability includes ensuringglobal compliancewith IT Service Management standards,tools and processeswhilecontinuously improving the quality and integrity of operational data.

Key responsibilities

  • Demonstrate a disciplined and relentless focus on operational rigor across cloud and on-premise platforms.

  • Drive the adoption of AI-enabled and automation-first capabilities to reduce operating costs, decrease reliance on third-party providers, and simplify and scale repeatable operational processes.

  • Promote a data-driven approach to operations; fostering trust is systems monitoring and data.

  • Demonstrate calm, confident leadership during high-stress incidents.

  • Drive Operations cost optimization and efficiencies across the portfolio.

  • Drive increased resilience into products as a high-bar standard and influence across the wider IT organization to achieve similar resilient practices.

  • Embrace data-driven operations through modern technologies, including AI Ops.

  • Ensure compliance with ITSM standards and processes (Event, Incident, Problem, Change, etc.)

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a geographically distributed IT team, focusing on strengthening operational maturity.

  • Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

  • Cultivate a high-performing technology operations culture that emphasizes proactive and forward-looking engagement to minimize outage risk.

  • Contribute to the development of a globally aligned operational strategy.

  • Manage both ongoing and project budgets, delivery timelines, and strategic vendor relationships as partners.

  • Collaborate with Vendor Management team to build & maintain IT Ops relationships with critical 3rd party vendors and SaaS providers.

  • You have a bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field (master's preferred).

  • You have 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, including managing global teams and operations.

  • You demonstrate an ability to lead high-stakes incident command and executive communication.

  • You have proven experience in global IT structures with direct coordination across continents.

  • You possess a strong knowledge of Global IT environments, including ITIL and regulatory and compliance requirements.

  • You have demonstrated success in driving digital transformation, automation, and data driven operations practices. You have a consistent track record of delivering commitments.

  • You have the ability to develop and execute staffing plans that align talent with business needs and foster high engagement.

  • You demonstrate exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills along with influencing and negotiation skills in matrixed or decentralized environments.

  • You are a continuous learner with experience in implementation and business applications of AI technologies.

Southern California Base Salary Range: $208,245-$354,017 San Antonio Base Salary Range: $187,540-$318,818

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
