Requisition ID: 77005 Job Description: Job Description The individual contributor is expected to fulfil a broad range of responsibilities related to definition, pathfinding and productization of CMOS/ BCD based foundry technologies. The individual will be part of team of foundry technologists under Skyworks' Technology and Manufacturing Group (TMG) that develops technologies to enable leading edge product portfolio. Responsibilities Responsible for collaborating with foundry partners to develop and enable foundry technologies that meet the performance requirements for various Skyworks products. Collaborate with internal design, product, reliability, and program management teams to define new technology introduction (NTI) scope, including characterization & reliability coverage, corner validation and risk assessment plan. Collaborate with cross-functional team to execute the NTI plan to meet the key milestones and to ensure the foundry process readiness for a successful production ramp. Required Experience and Skills Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Material Science, or Physics, and 10+ years of experience in semiconductor device design, process integration or technology development. Solid knowledge in BJT, MOSFET, BCD device physics, reliability, and process integration. Good understanding in device characteristics for RF front-end-module, and the impact at product level (e.g. IL, noise figure, ft/fmax, RF ruggedness, Harmonics/IMD etc) Good understanding in device characteristics for precision analog & HVFET, and the impacts at product level (e.g. mismatch, flicker noise, SOA, parasitic-BJT etc) Strong problem-solving skills to tackle Si. issues, uncover the root cause and drive corrective actions in a timely manner. Capability to innovate and generate the creative solutions. Excellent communication skills, demonstrating the capability to lead multiple projects, and to contribute effectively as a strong team player. Competency in managing and driving technical progress, meeting technology milestones through efficient and effective collaboration with both external foundry partner and internal cross-functional teams. Desired Experience and Skills Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Material Science, or Physics. Experience working with external foundries. Experience in Foundry NTI and NPI. Good knowledge in semiconductor manufacturing process and production flow. Basic knowledge in Foundry PDK (Spice model, LVS, DRC, PEX, etc), CAD tools (Cadence Virtuoso) and IC design flow. #LI-JR1 The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $143,000 - $286,400 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location.
