As a Senior Data Scientist on the Knowledge Surfaces team, you will lead the analytics, measurement, and optimization of Brand Concierge and related agentic experiences on Adobe.com. This role anchors advanced digital and web analytics in the agentic era-ensuring conversational and AI-powered interactions are thoughtfully instrumented, rigorously measured, and translated into actionable insights that improve experience quality and business outcomes.

Because Adobe.com is one of the earliest and most visible deployments of these capabilities, the team also serves as customer zero-generating insights that inform the evolution of Adobe's broader analytics and agentic offerings.

What You'll Do
  • Shape the analytics and measurement strategy for Brand Concierge and related agentic experiences on Adobe.com.
  • Define and evolve instrumentation to accurately track agent interactions, conversational flows, and downstream customer behavior across web journeys.
  • Analyze large-scale behavioral and conversational data to identify friction points and opportunities to improve personalization, agent quality, and conversion outcomes.
  • Measure end-to-end customer funnels by stitching data across agentic experiences, content surfaces, and human-assisted channels.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to translate roadmap priorities into experimentation frameworks, measurement plans, and scalable dashboards.
  • Build and scale reporting using Adobe Analytics, Customer Journey Analytics (CJA), SQL-based data environments, and BI tools.
What you'll need to succeed
  • 6-8+ years of experience in digital analytics, product analytics, or data science roles focused on web and customer journey measurement.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Adobe Analytics and/or Customer Journey Analytics (CJA), including segmentation, calculated metrics, attribution, and funnel analysis.
  • Deep understanding of web instrumentation, event design, tagging frameworks, and digital data governance.
  • Experience analyzing acquisition, conversion, onboarding, and engagement funnels in large-scale web environments.
  • Proficiency in SQL and ability to bridge frontend analytics platforms (Adobe Analytics/CJA) with backend querying environments (e.g., Databricks).
  • Exposure to conversational analytics, unstructured text analysis, or evaluation of AI-driven experiences.
  • Proven ability to translate complex behavioral and conversational data into clear, actionable recommendations in cross-functional environments.

Expected Pay Range:

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $133,100 -- $236,400 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
In California, the pay range for this position is $163,200 - $236,400

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
