Overview:

The Manager, Manufacturing Operations ensures a safe, high-quality continuous improvement culture in a growing Semiconductor capital equipment environment. The successful candidate will be capable of managing multiple complex priorities simultaneously with a "hands-on" style. The candidate must exemplify true leadership in developing their team through leading by example, coaching and employee development. Direct production activities of in-house manufacturing resources on second shift while meeting safety, quality, on-time delivery and cost objectives. Prioritizes production schedule based on customer requirements, design releases, and materials supply. Sets clear expectations for the team.

This is a second shift position with a schedule of 3:30pm to 12:00am.

Responsibilities:




  • Lead, coach, and develop production teams, ensuring proper staffing, training, performance management, and employee engagement to support operational goals.
  • Oversee daily production operations to ensure safety, quality, cost, and delivery targets are met, while driving continuous improvement across all manufacturing processes.
  • Manage production planning and resource allocation to optimize workflow efficiency, minimize downtime, and support ontime shipment of customer orders.
  • Partner with Planning, Project Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering and Purchasing to achieve customer ship dates.
  • Identify gaps in the production process and make recommendations as required to contain and resolve issues. This includes using 8D/5Y problem solving as-needed.
  • Track and present key performance indicators (KPI's), lessons learned, and corrective actions monthly.
  • Deliver sustained improvements to safety policies, practices and procedures.
  • Practice and lead 6S activities.



Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business with 10+ years of relevant production experience. An equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered. 5+ years prior experience supervising/managing required.

ERP experience required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:



  • Experience managing and developing a highly functional team on second shift.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, production workflows, and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Excellent leadership and teambuilding skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop employees.
  • Strong organizational and projectmanagement skills with the ability to prioritize multiple demands.
  • Effective communication skills for coordinating with crossfunctional teams and presenting operational updates to leadership.
  • Experience managing production of complex electro-mechanical equipment desired.
  • Semiconductor capital equipment industry experience desired.
  • 5+ years of experience in systems manufacturing environment desired.
  • SAP experience preferred.


Salary and Benefits
The expected salary range for this position is $92,297-$116,910, plus a bonus opportunity. We will consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors when determining your pay.
