Summary
The Manager - Practice Operations provides leadership for clinical and administrative staff while overseeing daytoday practice operations. This role ensures efficient workflows, appropriate staffing, regulatory compliance, and high levels of patient, staff, and provider satisfaction in a fastpaced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise, hire, train, and evaluate clinical and administrative staff
  • Coordinate daily operations and ensure appropriate staffing levels
  • Monitor provider schedules to maximize capacity and access
  • Conduct performance reviews, staff coaching, and corrective action
  • Prepare payroll, manage attendance, and oversee staff meetings
  • Ensure compliance with Federal and State regulations, Joint Commission standards, and other required benchmarks
  • Maintain staff certifications, competencies, and adherence to policies
  • Address patient and family concerns and resolve issues professionally
  • Monitor billing processes and assist with budget and expense tracking
  • Manage facility maintenance, equipment, and supply inventory
  • Identify patient safety risks and lead mitigation and quality improvement efforts
  • Collaborate with physicians and leadership on operational goals and improvements

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  2. License/Certifications: N/A
  3. Experience: Two or more years' management/supervisory experience preferred. Hospital/outpatient clinic management preferred.
  4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: N/A
  5. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Knowledge of financials including AP and AR
