CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Health & Safety Operations Specialist to join our Health & Safety Team in Boston, MA; Duluth, GA; Miami, FL; or Indianapolis, IN. This is your opportunity to champion people first safety initiatives, strengthen program responsiveness, and collaborate across departments to embed consistent, effective safety practices throughout the organization.



What You'll Do:

    Support and enhance Corporate Health & Safety programs through incident investigations, root cause analysis, and the development of safety communications and programs
  • Maintain and prepare OSHA logs and support CHA's vehicle telematics program
  • Oversee client-required contractor management platforms (e.g., ISNetworld, Avetta, VeriForce, Vero) to maintain approved status
  • Lead office safety and emergency action plan program, including documentation, updates, and stakeholder coordination
  • Manage medical surveillance and telehealth triage program as well as DOT drug and alcohol program
  • Assist operations with safety pre qualifications and submittals, ensuring compliance with internal and client standards
  • Analyze safety data, identify trends, and contribute to dashboards and reports that support informed decision-making while helping advance digital tools and process improvements
  • Coordinate Health & Safety training, new hire onboarding and specialized safety training by in-house/third-party trainers


What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Public Health, or a related field required
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience supporting, developing, and managing corporate safety programs required
  • Demonstrated success in improving program efficiency and effectiveness
  • Experience managing third party contractor management platforms (ISNetworld, Avetta, VeriForce, Vero)
  • Experience generating and managing OSHA logs and managing DOT Drug & Alcohol program
  • Proficiency developing and managing Safety Analytics, trend reporting, responding to client pre-qualifications and Power BI dashboards
  • Experience coordinating medical surveillance/telehealth triage programs
  • Experience developing and/or implementing proactive and progressive safety management systems
  • Ability to travel occasionally (estimated <12 days per year) to support office safety and meetings
  • Associate Safety Professional (ASP) certification is a plus
  • Safety course trainer experience is a plus

Salary Range:

$35.00 - $39.00

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
