As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will complete routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with calm professionalism. You will document observations, support access control and/or incident reporting, and provide a welcoming customer service experience for tenants and visitors. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a commercial property setting.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas including lobbies, corridors, stairwells, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and/or security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and support visitor management by verifying identification where required, directing guests to appropriate areas, and reporting unauthorized entry attempts per site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with medical response coordination, alarm activations, and tenant concerns, while following post orders and escalation guidelines.
  • Complete detailed written reports and shift logs, and communicate notable activity to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership using approved reporting tools and radio/phone protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have 2 or more years of security experience.
  • Maintain an active DoD Secret clearance.
  • CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
