Enterprise Project Management Office Internship (Project Manager) - Las Vegas

Interns are hired through a third-party vendor rather than directly by Southwest Gas.

We are looking for interns to join our Internal Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) team for an 11-week period lasting from early June to mid August. The internship requires 40 hours of work per week in an office environment at our corporate office located in Las Vegas.

The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in the various aspects of large-scale project management from project inception to completion.

Our paid internship provides an amazing opportunity for students to gain practical experience and train with professionals with dozens of years of experience in project management and natural gas distribution.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Learn technical aspects of project management in natural gas distribution

• Support enterprise project management and project administration

• Perform data analysis and documentation reviews

• Create project deliverables

• Review company and department standards

REQUIREMENTS

• Enrolled in any technical undergraduate degree program leveraging utilizing project management

• Must be in a sophomore, junior or senior status

• Excellent collaboration and relationship building skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Exceptional organizational and analytical skills

SALARY DETAILS

$22-27/hour
