Dental Medical Support Assistant - Clinton

JOB SUMMARY: Provide Dental Assistant / Medical Support services in accordance with Clinton Service Unit facility policies and procedures and within scope of licensure.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

• Screen patients to enter the facility
• Complete and fill out insurance forms
• Schedule appointments by phone or email
• Maintain medical records
• Record and file patient charts and medical records
• Triage emergency dental patients.
• Under the direction of the staff dentist, contacts providers outside of the facility to coordinate patient care.
• Direct patients or visitors. Refer callers to appropriate staff members. Write down pertinent patient or message information to give accurate messages to staff.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

• Background check required.
