Shift: 1st Shift

Duration: 6 Months (Contract to hire)

Payrate: $30/hr. to $33/hr. on W2 without benefits

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field required.
  • 2+ years of Quality Engineering experience required.


Job Description:

  • Seeking a driven Quality Engineer with manufacturing experience to support product and process quality in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment.
  • This role is customer-facing, highly collaborative, and requires strong problem-solving, communication, and continuous improvement skills.


Role & Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and improve quality standards, inspection plans, and procedures.
  • Lead root cause and corrective action activities using 8D methodology.
  • Represent Quality in daily production meetings and work closely with Manufacturing.
  • Identify and address non conformances; write and revise quality processes and documentation.
  • Perform statistical analysis, SPC, and quality performance assessments.
  • Interface with customers and suppliers on quality issues, audits, and corrective actions.
  • Support MRB activities, failure analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
  • 2+ years of Quality Engineering experience (Manufacturing Engineering experience a plus).
  • Aerospace industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Customer-facing experience with the ability to handle escalations professionally.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with SPC, statistical analysis, and quality systems.
  • ASQ certification preferred.
