This role will be a crucial contributor to our company's growth and employee experience. You will be responsible for full-cycle recruitment and will also support various HR functions, working closely with the VP of HR to ensure the smooth operation of our HR programs and initiatives. This is a fast-paced, dynamic role that requires exceptional organizational skills, a proactive approach, and a genuine passion for people.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment (60% of Time):

  • Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and screening candidates to conducting interviews, extending offers, and managing the new hire experience beyond Day 1.
  • Sourcing Strategies: Develop and implement creative sourcing strategies to attract top talent using various online platforms, social media, networking events, and employee referrals.
  • Candidate Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, providing a positive and professional experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Management: Utilize and maintain our ATS to track candidates, manage the hiring process, and generate reports.
  • Manage and execute ATS enhancements in partnership with the People Technology Team
  • Contribute to enhancing our employer brand by participating in job fairs, networking events, and developing engaging content.
  • Reporting: Track and analyze recruitment metrics to identify areas for improvement.

HR (40% of Time):

  • Support the Talent Manager and HRBPs with Talent related initiatives
  • Manage the Ingevity workforce planning process, which includes headcount tracking, proactive sourcing for future roles and aligning with Business leaders on future succession.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in various HR projects and initiatives, such as employee engagement surveys, training programs, and process improvements.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.

Experience:

  • 2-4 years of experience in full-cycle recruitment, ideally in a corporate setting.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a generalist HR role, supporting a variety of HR functions.
  • Proven ability to source and recruit top talent across diverse industries and skill sets.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms. Workday preferred
  • Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proactive and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
