Join Dysruptek - Haskell's venture capital, research and development arm - as an AI Researcher. This role focuses on hands-on experimentation, development of proof-of-concepts, and rapid prototyping of AI-driven solutions that address real business and construction challenges across Haskell.

Dysruptek identifies strategic investments in early stage technology companies with solutions to address the major challenges facing the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Design, build, and test AI proof-of-concepts and prototypes to explore new use cases.
  • Experiment with AI tools, models, and platforms to evaluate feasibility, limitations, and potential value.
  • Develop custom AI agents, workflows, or integrations as part of applied research and prototyping efforts.
  • Translate conceptual ideas and business problems into working technical demonstrations.
  • Document technical approaches, findings, limitations, and recommendations from experiments and pilots.
  • Support handoff of validated prototypes with appropriate documentation and demonstrations for further development or deployment.
  • Collaborate closely with Dysruptek team members and stakeholders across Haskell to understand needs and iterate on solutions.
  • Monitor emerging AI capabilities, industry trends, and tools to inform prototyping and practical use cases.
  • Participate in internal working sessions, demonstrations, and reviews of AI initiatives.
  • Occasionally travel to other Haskell offices, job sites, conferences, or external partners to gather insights, oversee project progress, or present findings.

To thrive in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems or relevant field.
  • 0-3 years of relevant industry experience through internship or professional positions.
  • Hands-on experience experimenting with AI tools, platforms, or automation technologies.
  • Ability to rapidly prototype, iterate, and test technical solutions.
  • Comfortable working in exploratory, ambiguous environments with evolving requirements.
  • Good communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

Environmental Factors and/or Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, this position is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, and arm, hand and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application/form information. The associate frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
