Security Officer - Rover Driver - Second Shift

As a Security Officer - Rover Driver in Racine, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed, driving patrol officer at a retail and mall location, you will conduct vehicle and foot patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, assist guests and store teams with customer service, and document activity. You will communicate clearly, respond to concerns, and support a welcoming environment while living Allied Universal values of integrity, teamwork, reliability, agility, innovation, and a people-first culture. Valid driver's license required per AU Driver Policy Requirements.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including customer disputes, lost and found situations, medical calls, and policy violations, and notify site leadership and/or public services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of sales floors, common areas, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or maintenance issues.
• Monitor access points and help manage guest flow, including observing for prohibited behavior, verifying authorized access to back-of-house areas, and assisting with deliveries and vendor check-in per post orders.
• Complete required documentation such as shift activity logs, patrol reports, and incident reports, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
