Daikin Applied is a global leader in providing innovative HVAC solutions for commercial and industrial applications. We are seeking a motivatedInfrastructure Automation Engineering Internto join our Infrastructure & Cloud team. This internship will provide hands-on exposure to DevOps, cloud platforms, and automation engineering, giving you an end-to-end view of how modern software environments are built, deployed, and maintained. Timeline:This Internship opportunity is for May - August 2026

Location:Plymouth, MN - 5 days a week in office

What you will do:

• Assist in environment cleanup and documentation, creating clear references for systems and processes.

• Learn how to investigate, analyze, and document cloud and data center systems.

• Develop automation scripts to replace manual processes, contributing to modern infrastructure delivery practices.

• Explore DevOps principles, gaining an understanding of how software, quality assurance, and infrastructure teams collaborate.

• Participate in projects that provide a full end-to-end view of infrastructure delivery, from legacy systems to modern cloud solutions.

• Gain hands-on experience with tools and technologies used to build and manage enterprise infrastructure.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Sophomore or Junior currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.

• Familiarity with at least one programming/scripting language

• Interest in DevOps, cloud platforms (Azure) and infrastructure automation.

• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)

• Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position

Preferred Qualifications:

• Reside within a 300-mile radius of our Plymouth, MN office

The typical hourly pay rate for this position is $24/hr - $29/hr. Thisrepresentsthe pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
