Clinical Interviewer

This position is responsible for conducting clinical interviews as part of RMI's clinical assessment process. This position works alongside Clinical Operations and Talent Acquisition to ensure that candidates are fully qualified and able to perform in remote and austere environments. Clinical Interviewers must be able to assess a candidate's ability to react independently during situations of intense pressure as well as determine if the candidate will follow the proper procedures surrounding the use of Topside Support.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Conduct clinical Interviews with candidates who have been pre-screened by Talent Acquisition and determine if the candidate is clinically qualified to work on the proposed project.



  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the company's projects for which the interviews are being conducted and the specific skill sets necessary to work at those locations.





  • Follow the specific interview guidelines put in place by Clinical Operations.





  • Notify the necessary parties of the outcome immediately following the interview and properly document the interview notes.





  • Have a thorough and working knowledge of medical best practices.





  • Upon completion of a clinical interview, the Interviewer is expected to make a sound and informed recommendation to the Head of Clinical Operations and Medical Director of RMI regarding clinical authorization.



SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:



  • Prior experience interviewing medical providers is preferred but not required





  • Currently licensed as an active health care provider in one of the following:





  • Current or previous Advanced Tactical Practitioner (ATP) in the US Military





  • Paramedic license within the United States and/or the United Kingdom





  • Registered Nurse (RN) within the United States and/or the United Kingdom





  • Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) including: Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA), Nurse Practitioner (NP)





  • Physician Assistant (PA-C)





  • Licensed Physician (MD or DO) in the United States and/or the United Kingdom



COMPUTER SKILLS:



  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, and general computer & technology literacy.





  • Excellent communication skills.



REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:



  • Strong decision-making skills

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

This position is in a standard office environment with desktop business equipment and frequent telephone calls. Noise level is moderate.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time. The employee must constantly reach with hands and fingers. Employee must be able to work in close contact with small and large groups. Frequent hearing and talking is required. Extensive keyboard typing is required.
