Location:Chelmsford, MA (01824) Job ID: #72052 Pay Range: $25-30 Pay based on experience 1st Shift (M-TH) 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM 40hrs4-10hr days, some overtime on FRIs or SATs Open to US Citizens & US Permanent Residents Preferred Skills: Active J-STD-001 & Active IPC-610 certifications Be Eligible for Secret Clearance - Interim secret required prior to start Experience: 2 or more years of experience needed THE COMPANY -Work with one of the Largest American Owned Aerospace & Defense Companies. Summary: - Performs all types of i nspections to support all phases of assembly and manufacturing, including but not limited to subcontracted and/or purchased parts. - Must have a thorough knowledge of blueprint readings/interpretation, math and instrument reading as well as a complete understanding of wiring diagrams. - Must know how to use basic measuring equipment and instruments used to continuity check various assemblies/components including basic personal computing literacy. -Is required to know and fully understand the workmanship acceptance criteria used on the production floor. - Must have a thorough knowledge of all paperwork/documentation associated with the aforementioned inspection functions, - Must be able to properly document in a neat and legible manner, all types of errors or discrepancies found. - Must have a thorough knowledge of the correct procedures to follow and precautions to take when performing their work in order to prevent damage to equipment and/or material and injury to self and/or others. - Must maintain a neat and orderly work/inspection area. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned. Required - Basic Qualifications: 1) Ability to follow work instructions and read blueprint readings/interpretation 2) PC / computer literacy 3) Must be able to identify discrepancies 4) High school diploma / GED Okay, no degree needed 5) Manager prefers a candidate with an active secret clearance, okay with previously held clearance. Supplier will be required to start interim clearance process at offer stage. * 2 or more years of Inspection Experience *** May consider 1yr of ex if current / activeJ-STD-001 &Active IPC-610 certifications Desired Skills: 1) Active J-STD-001 certification 2) Active IPC-610 certification 3) math and instrument reading as well as a complete understanding of wiring diagrams.
