About the role

The CDL Class B Driver operates a straightbody rolloff truck at a paper mill, hauling compact dumpsters to and from the disposal site. This is a dedicated nightshift role, home daily, requiring safe maneuvering in tight areas, accurate box placement, and efficient turnarounds.

SignOn Bonus: $5,000 (1/3 after 1 month, 1/3 after 6 months, 1/3 after 1 year)

Responsibilities
  • Operate a straightbody rolloff truck safely and efficiently in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies.
  • Pull compact dumpsters from the paper mill, dump contents, and return units for continued use.
  • Maneuver in tight spaces at the mill, including backing and precise box setdown and pickup.
  • Conduct daily pretrip and posttrip inspections (tires, lights, brakes, fluids, hydraulics, hoist, cables).
  • Complete required documentation and logs accurately (e.g., inspection reports, delivery receipts, basic paperwork related to hauling).
  • Communicate clearly with mill support staff and dispatch regarding load instructions, timing, and any delays.
  • Perform additional tasks to support site and facility operations as assigned.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred; Reworld offers a fully funded GED Works program.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older for interstate commercial driving.
  • Valid CDL Class B.
  • Minimum 2+ years of commercial driving experience.
  • Rolloff experience strongly preferred; ability to work independently and safely.
  • Clean driving record and ability to pass a DOT physical.
  • Ability to use a tablet or handheld device for electronic logs.
  • Strong communication skills for coordination with the pulp mill support team.
Shift Details
  • Night shift, home daily.
  • Tuesday-Thursday: 5:00 PM - 5:00 AM
  • Friday: 5:00 PM - 11:00 PM
  • Start/end location: Niagara Packard facility.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to walk, stand, sit, climb, and lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work at heights and in tight or confined spaces.
  • Ability to dolly and maneuver compact dumpsters and related equipment safely.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Adequate visual and hearing capability for safe operation.
