About the role

The CDL Driver II is responsible for operating a tandem rolloff truck to transport hazardous and nonhazardous waste between Reworld facilities and client sites. This is a fulltime, homedaily role that requires safe operation of manualtransmission rolloff equipment and strict adherence to DOT and company standards.

Responsibilities
  • Operate a tandem rolloff truck safely and efficiently while following all DOT regulations and company procedures.
  • Load, secure, transport, and drop rolloff containers at customer and facility locations.
  • Maneuver in tight spaces, back to docks or designated setdown areas, and perform precise placement of boxes.
  • Conduct daily pretrip and posttrip inspections of vehicle, hoist, cables, hydraulics, tires, lights, brakes, and fluids.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including logs, inspection reports, manifests, bills of lading, and delivery receipts.
  • Communicate clearly with dispatch, customers, and site personnel regarding instructions, status, and delays.
  • Support facility operations as needed and complete additional assigned duties.
Qualifications
  • Valid CDL Class A.
  • Doubles endorsement required.
  • HazMat endorsement required.
  • Tanker endorsement preferred but not required.
  • Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience, with rolloff experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience operating a tandem rolloff in any capacity is heavily preferred.
  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • Clean driving record and ability to pass a DOT physical.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Reliable, organized, and safetyfocused with a customerservice mindset.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to walk, stand, sit, climb, and lift or carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work at heights and in tight or confined spaces.
  • Ability to dolly and maneuver 55gallon drums, totes, cubicyard boxes, and pallets.
  • Ability to carry and connect cables and operate hydraulic systems across varied terrain.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions.
  • Adequate vision and hearing for safe operation.
Shift Details
  • Monday to Friday, typical day shift.
  • Home daily.
  • Occasional weekend work as needed based on operational demand.
