DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this role, you will be responsible for providing security and assistance to the general public and employees in buildings during normal shift operations. This involves opening or closing buildings, answering questions, placing emergency calls, as well as checking doors, lights, and the general physical condition of buildings. You will also be responsible for monitoring and logging vehicles entering the Capitol truck roadway, completing visual checks of vehicles, and conducting security checks of individuals. You will be expected to walk for long periods of time and be on your feet for the majority of your shift. If you have the ability to complete these essential tasks and react quickly and calmy in emergency situations, we need you on our team! Interested in learning more? - Full-time employment, 40 hours per week.
- Work schedule varies by position. Available shifts currently include:
- 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- 10:15 AM to 6:15 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Special Requirement:
- You must possess a valid Pennsylvania Motor Vehicle operator's license.
Additional Requirement:
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
