Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and/or education, and location. This position is also eligible for an annual bonus. Summary Position is responsible for various functions related to the processing of Wire transactions including incoming, outgoing for both domestic and USD international wire transactions through the Federal Reserve Bank. Processing responsibilities include, create and/or verify, exception queues, OFAC and fraud monitoring processes through Fundtech's Payplus Connect system This position will assist with centralized faxed wires and department fraud review processes. Position will have direct contact with internal and external customers. Qualified candidate must be a team player, flexible and possess excellent customer service and data entry/computer skills. Willing to train candidate who meet these qualifications. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
Wire Processor II - Grade 8 This is an intermediate position. The associate must have a strong working knowledge in most Wire Department processes. Will back up other positions and perform other duties as required. Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in wire processing and/or other related areas of bank operations. Intermediate Wire and Wire Fraud Prevention training is required. Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities. Education and/or Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Language Skills Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Mathematical Skills Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance. Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Navigator, Director Database software; Accuity Thompson's Global Banking Resource TGBR Internet software and Microsoft Suite, Paypluc Connect, Fedline Advantage Spreadsheet software.
