Senior Analyst - Joint Air-Ground Integration (ACC/A3J Support)

Leidos is seeking a missionfocused Senior Analyst to join our respected Joint AirGround Integration Support (JAGIS) team in direct support of ACC/A3J. This role is central to advancing Joint AirGround Integration and modernizing Command and Control (C2) capabilities as the Department of Defense shifts from Counterinsurgency (COIN) operations toward LargeScale Combat Operations (LSCO). The ideal candidate brings deep operational experience, strong analytical acumen, and a comprehensive understanding of Joint operations-particularly within the Joint Air Ground Integration Center (JAGIC), Air Support Operations Center (ASOC), and Tactical Air Control Party (TACP) enterprise.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Conduct indepth analysis and develop recommendations that strengthen Joint integration, C2 modernization, and combat assessment efforts for ACC/A3J.
  • Deliver actionable assessments of Joint combat capabilities during major training events, with emphasis on the Army Warfighter Exercise (WFX) series.
  • Serve as an Observer/Coach/Trainer (OCT), guiding exercise participants to improve Joint C2 integration and TTP execution.
  • Lead and support the development, refinement, and standardization of Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) for JAGIC, ASOC, and TACP operations.
  • Participate in Joint AllDomain Command and Control (JADC2) experimentation, analysis, and assessment initiatives.
  • Contribute to working groups and strategic forums shaping the future of the TACP weapons system and its evolving LSCO mission sets.
  • Design and implement evaluation strategies for C2 modernization efforts, including emerging technologies, communications systems, and Tactical Operations Center (TOC) processes.
  • Support planning and execution of combat airspace workshops, conferences, and Joint integration working groups.
  • Assist with manpower studies, resource planning, and training system development aligned with ACC/A3J's evolving operational requirements.

Note: This role supports a hybrid schedule, with approximately 50% telework and 50% onsite presence at Joint Base LangleyEustis.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in National Security, Military Studies, Operations Research, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of relevant military, operational, or analytical experience, with strong preference for Joint, Air Force, or Army C2 backgrounds.
  • Expertlevel understanding of JAGIC, ASOC, and TACP roles, functions, and operational integration.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting or executing largescale exercises, particularly the Army Warfighter Exercise series.
  • Proven ability to develop, refine, and assess TTPs within Joint C2 environments.
  • Exceptional analytical, writing, and briefing skills.
  • Ability to operate independently while contributing effectively within a highperforming team.
  • Current Top Secret SCI security clearance required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience contributing to Joint Doctrine development or Air Force Instructions (AFIs).
  • Previous assignment within an AOC, ASOC, or Joint planning/operations role.
  • Familiarity with JADC2 initiatives, experimentation, and emerging C2 technologies.
  • Understanding of manpower documentation processes and training requirement development.
