Your Role on Our Team:

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for planning, overseeing, and ensuring the completion of all maintenance department responsibilities. This includes maintaining and utilizing systems to keep production running smoothly, completing preventive maintenance tasks, and developing Maintenance Technicians while holding them accountable for daily activities. This role requires strong leadership and clear, consistent communication both within the maintenance team and across other departments. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent time management skills, and the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

You'll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:

  • Leads a team to manage and support the day-to-day operations and activities of the facilities effectively and efficiently.

  • Ensures Technicians are properly trained on Oracle Work Order processes and consistently use them correctly.

  • Sets schedules according to workload and follows up with progress throughout the day/week.

  • Fosters a high degree of morale among associates, including providing feedback, recognition, and rewards.

  • Conducts or delegates shift start-up meetings; communicates information related to culture, safety, production, accuracy, recognition, and facility/HR updates to keep team members informed

  • Provides timely, ongoing communication ensuring the appropriate dissemination of information to department leaders.

  • Prioritizes repairs needed to keep the facility at peak production.

  • Approves time in Kronos for hourly direct reports.

  • Identifies measures that can improve inventory of spare parts without additional financial burden.

  • Develops all technicians to become a valuable part of the team to ensure their skills are at par with warehouse standards and regulations.

  • Responsible for identifying and growing future team leaders within Milwaukee Tool.

  • Recommends employee corrective actions including recommendations for termination.

  • Establishes operational strategy and related activities to facilitate consistent area goal achievement.

  • Maintains and enforces a clean and safe working environment.

  • Drives safety and culture and holds team members accountable for compliance including but not limited to adhering to safety incident reporting/protocols

  • Develop a cohesive team of technicians that are committed to the success of the department.

  • Communicate and support the other departments by support in their successes.

  • Requires education equivalent to four years of high school

Working Conditions:

  • Manufacturing

Physical Demands:

  • Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling of tools and boxes

  • Standing for long periods of time, as well as repetitive motion

  • Operate manual pallet jacks

  • Operation of other equipment is a plus

  • Able to work in various temperature conditions

  • Ability to lift and/or move objects up to 70lbs
