The role includes collaborating with staff, volunteers, community members, corporations, and other organizations to organize major events such as the Portland Rose Festival, National Salvation Army Week, and other annual or holiday-related activities. The events and communications coordinator will also serve as a community awareness representative, building collaborative partnerships and enhancing visibility for The Salvation Army Portland Metro.
