Title: Senior Commercial Lead, UX
UX covers all aspects of the end-user's interaction with a company, and its products. UX research is at the heart of user-centered design, which is based on the notion that design should be informed by research about users, their expectations, their activities, and their interactions with products. Ipsos believes that as part of a user-centered design process, every design decision should be informed at least in part by UX research.
Ipsos believes that simply conducting evaluative UX research on completed designs is not as effective as conducting UX research throughout the full product lifecycle. As a result, Ipsos conducts a variety of mixed methods UX research globally, on behalf of Fortune 500 and emerging leaders across industry sectors.
The Senior Commercial Lead, UX is a senior level role, responsible for driving growth for Ipsos in the UX and Product Development discipline.
- The role will be focused on business development across Ipsos' full suite of services, across the full product lifecycle, across industries.
- There will be a primary focus on tech sector clients, with a secondary focus on other non-tech industry sectors that actively purchase UXR services.
- This role will also be critical to informing Ipsos' ongoing Go To Market strategy in the UX and Product Insights space: shaping Ipsos offers, advising Ipsos service teams, and representing the voice of the UX client inside Ipsos.
- The role will work in alignment with Industry Leaders and Ipsos Service Line Leads and Client Officers, to effectively sell UX offerings and ensure a strong technical footprint in the market.
- The role will report to the Ipsos EVP, Tech Media Telecom sector.
The Senior Commercial Lead, UX will have the responsibility for revenue generation/maintenance, relationship management, and commercial development amongst new UX clients of Ipsos. This includes partnering with Ipsos Client Officers and Service Lines to drive revenue.
- Plans and effectively executes a programmatic approach to grow our business in the UX space.
- Collaborates with other service lines and the Client Organization, to position our offerings and address senior stakeholder buyer business problems, in a differentiated way vs. our competitors.
- Create account growth strategies for key clients that will drive revenue year over year.
- Prioritize client relationship efforts with the greatest ROI, strengthening ties with influencers/decision makers within client organizations.
- Oversee major proposals, ensuring they are thoughtfully designed, competitively priced, and effectively pitched to clients for high win rates.
- Impact and contribute to Go to Market strategy for Ipsos in the UX and Product space, shaping offerings, ways of working, and client targeting.
- Minimum of 15 years within UX or User Centered Design industry; 10+ years of experience in a business development or account management role.
- Seasoned researcher with both quantitative and qualitative skills, with a focus on UX.
- Strong existing rolodex of UX, Design, and Product client buyer stakeholders.
- Exceptional commercial acumen: strong client facing skills and trusted advisor.
- Demonstrated sales achievements throughout your career.
- Strong account management and organizational skills, can manage high volume of concurrent activities and pursuits.
