Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
As our Electro-mechanical Technician, you will support PendoTech's entire product portfolio, including sensors, transmitters, and control systems, in R&D activities related to existing and new products. You will troubleshoot product and application issues by simulating problems in-house. You will work both independently and cross-functionally to problem solve and come to resolutions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Performing detailed and accurate testing of sensors, transmitters, and control systems according to established protocols, as well as writing and updating protocols.
  • Performing root cause analysis and troubleshooting to enable rapid RMA resolution with the use of various hand tools and machine tools.
  • Supporting new product development by designing and building prototypes using 3D printing, test fixtures, and various lab equipment.
  • Documenting all work, including test protocols and reports.
What You Need to Succeed
  • Technical training or degree.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in electronic or electro-mechanical assembly and testing.
  • Skilled in high-precision electronics sub and final assembly, using hand tools, gauges, fixtures, and performing basic electrical testing and calibration.
  • Comfortable reading assembly drawings, test procedures, and work instructions.
This position is considered safety sensitive and is subject to drug testing as permitted by law.
