Our Opening and Your Responsibilities As our Electro-mechanical Technician, you will support PendoTech's entire product portfolio, including sensors, transmitters, and control systems, in R&D activities related to existing and new products. You will troubleshoot product and application issues by simulating problems in-house. You will work both independently and cross-functionally to problem solve and come to resolutions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Performing detailed and accurate testing of sensors, transmitters, and control systems according to established protocols, as well as writing and updating protocols. Performing root cause analysis and troubleshooting to enable rapid RMA resolution with the use of various hand tools and machine tools. Supporting new product development by designing and building prototypes using 3D printing, test fixtures, and various lab equipment. Documenting all work, including test protocols and reports. What You Need to Succeed Technical training or degree. 5+ years of hands-on experience in electronic or electro-mechanical assembly and testing. Skilled in high-precision electronics sub and final assembly, using hand tools, gauges, fixtures, and performing basic electrical testing and calibration. Comfortable reading assembly drawings, test procedures, and work instructions. This position is considered safety sensitive and is subject to drug testing as permitted by law.
