Position Title: CNC Programmer
Wage: $35-$45/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6am-3:30pm We are seeking a skilled 5-axis CNC Programmer to create and optimize programs for precision parts. This role requires hands-on experience programming multi-axis machines, interpreting blueprints/GD&T, and collaborating with machinists to ensure efficient, high-quality production. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated CNC Programmer to contribute to precision manufacturing in a fast-paced, high-quality environment. This is a direct hire role in Hartland, WI. CNC Programmer Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Program, edit, and optimize 5-axis CNC milling operations - Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T for accurate part production - Collaborate with operators to troubleshoot programs and improve cycle times - Perform first-piece and in-process inspections to ensure quality standards - Maintain tooling, setup sheets, and program documentation - Support continuous improvement initiatives and adhere to safety protocols CNC Programmer Requirements: - 3-5+ years CNC programming experience, including 5-axis - Proficiency with Mastercam, GibbsCAM, or equivalent - Strong understanding of blueprint reading and GD&T - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Team-oriented with strong communication skills - Associate degree or technical diploma in Manufacturing, Machining, or related field preferred QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
