Project Manager II

Contract 1 Year

Minneapolis, MN-Hybrid Role

We do not offer per diem or relocation assistance, so you should live within a drivable distance of Minneapolis, MN.

Your Day-to-Day:

We will ask you to take on capital project scopes of work including nuclear plant modifications/upgrades, equipment replacement, or facility upgrade related projects. The role may also include creating or revising long-term project plans, enhancing project estimates, managing project resources, and managing program related projects.

You will support a large team of 32 people under the Director of Nuclear Projects. Partners include the maintenance organization, engineering department, controls group, finance organization, senior leaders, internal supply department, and external vendors.

Who You Are:

* We are looking for 5+ years of experience. The experience must include managing projects of at least $1 million. Additionally, a high level of knowledge of utility, power plant, and commercial nuclear power plant systems is necessary. Having these qualifications will expedite the ramp-up time and process for this role.

We prefer an ABET accredited Mechanical/Electrical/Civil/Nuclear Engineering background, and construction experience. Finance background is also beneficial.

* Familiarity with Project Management Institute (PMI) - PMBOK Waterfall/Predictive project management techniques/processes.

We prefer ex-Navy nuclear experience or previous utility/power plant experience if no commercial nuclear power experience is available.

* Previous experience with SAP, Unifier, UKG Workday, MS Project, and P6/Primavera is helpful

* PMP certification but not required. SRO certification or Operator license from a plant knowledge perspective is also beneficial.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all our people practices. We estimate the base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon review of qualifications, to be $80/hour to $82/hour.
