This role is ideal for a trade compliance professional who understands U.S. customs regulations, global trade requirements, and logistics coordination-and enjoys partnering with internal teams and external providers to keep operations moving efficiently and compliantly.

What You'll Do



  • Ensure all import and export activities comply with U.S. and international trade laws, regulations, and internal policies
  • Prepare, review, and maintain import and export documentation, including tariff classifications, commercial invoices, packing lists, shipping documents, and customs declarations
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of U.S. import tariffs, permits, and global trade compliance requirements
  • Monitor and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
  • Partner with freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, and warehouse teams to optimize logistics performance
  • Investigate and resolve shipping, customs clearance, and documentation issues
  • Support audits, internal reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives related to trade compliance and logistics
  • Respond to compliance inquiries and provide guidance and training on best practices
  • Analyze logistics and compliance data to support reporting and performance improvements


What You Bring



  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, trade compliance, import/export, or customs brokerage
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. customs regulations, tariffs, and global trade compliance requirements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Experience in electronics manufacturing preferred
  • Familiarity with Incoterms and international shipping documentation
  • Trade compliance certifications, such as CCS or CUSECO, are preferred
  • Experience working with global suppliers and logistics service providers
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Multilingual capabilities are a plus
