In this dynamic role, you will be a pivotal member of the Data and Insights team, focusing on optimizing user support experiences. You will partner closely with the customer support team, diving deep into interaction data to uncover pain points and recommend data-driven improvements. Beyond user support, you'll contribute to understanding the impact of external initiatives, connecting these activities to in-platform metrics. Your insights will be crucial in informing strategic decisions, improving business performance, and ensuring an exceptional experience for our global user base. Responsibilities
- Partner with the customer support team and data engineering to transform user support data into actionable insights.
- Identify key learnings from data analysis and synthesize them into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other data scientists to integrate user support findings into major analyses and strategic initiatives.
- Conduct data analysis for various stakeholder groups, including marketing and consumer products, focusing on the return on investment of external initiatives and optimizing for in-platform metrics.
- Demonstrate self-direction and the ability to deliver on ambiguous projects, even with incomplete or unstructured data.
- Maintain and develop dashboards using data visualization tools to provide stakeholders with business insights and support onboarding to self-service analytics tools.
- Manipulate and analyze complex, high-volume, high-dimensionality data from diverse sources using a variety of tools and analytical techniques.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in data analytics.
- 5 years of experience with SQL.
- 2 years of experience with dashboarding tools (e.g., PowerBI).
- Proficient in Python.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, diverse, and fast-paced team environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong sense of autonomy in tackling data challenges.
- Excellent verbal, visual, and written communication skills.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Familiarity with SparkSQL, Databricks, or Azure Data Explorer.
- Familiarity with PySpark.
- A strong interest in games, with bonus points for experience in the interactive entertainment industry.
