You will support security-related operations by managing access control, verifying credentials, issuing badges, monitoring cameras and alarms, and documenting activity. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the front desk.
  • Manage access control at the reception area by greeting visitors, verifying identification, issuing visitor badges, and directing guests to the appropriate destination per site policy.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, and communications equipment from the front desk, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications to site leadership and/or emergency services as required.
  • Maintain accurate logs and reports of visitor activity, incidents, and shift events, and communicate key information during shift turnovers.
  • Support screening and check-in processes as required by the location, including confirming appointments and following established procedures for prohibited items and/or restricted areas.
  • Provide security-related assistance with lost and found, access issues, and after-hours entry requests in accordance with site-specific policies.
  • Assist with crowd control and line management at the reception area during peak arrival times, and help to maintain orderly lobby operations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Experience with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
