General Shop 2nd Shift

JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION: GENERAL SHOP I- Night

LOCATION: Chatsworth, California

SHIFT: 4:30pm - 1:00am (Monday thru Friday).

The ideal candidate will be a self-started, motivated and demonstrate he/she can work under general supervision. The candidate must have prior experience in the field and have the ability to work with diverse personalities. Other qualities include good communication skills and the ability to meet deadlines.

BASIC FUNCTIONS:

• Candidate will work in a manufacturing setting, sanding and work with fiberglass materials.
• Use of power tools, such as screwdrivers, hand sanders, etc.
• Must follow company policies which include wearing personal protective equipment when required.
• Other Job duties as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• 0-2 years experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Work in a Fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual English /Spanish.
• Basic computer skills, Complete necessary computer transactions and paperwork proficiently.
• Able to work as part of a team, share ideas with team and Manufacturing Engineers as needed.
• Punctual and ready to work.
• Report any assembly issues or delays to Lead and Supervisor.
• Demonstrated ability to cross train in various departments as required.
• Familiar with Sanding, grinder, paint, various chemicals, assembly tools.
• Follow all Safety guidelines.
• Maintain a clean workstation.
• Able to lift 25 lbs.
• Be able to stand for extended periods including, standing, walking, sitting, lifting.
• Be able to work overtime with short notice or as needed.
