Parks Maintenance Worker Aide

Note: This is anticipated to start in March 2026. This is a temporary full-time position. This position has authorized funding for four (4) full months from hire. This is also a non-represented and non-benefited position.

What will you do in this position?

• Maintains ball fields and prepares fields for use including dragging and lining.
• Mows, trims, and weeds small landscape and large turf areas in assigned areas; operates push mower and other equipment necessary, such as line trimmers, rakes, shovels.
• Assists in construction and renovation of park facilities including parks, ball fields and restrooms.
• Other duties as assigned

 A successful candidate in this position will:

• Be age 18 or older and have a valid driver's license at the time of appointment.
• Ensure clear and efficient communication of information and ideas through diverse communication channels.
• Develop and utilize collaborative relationships to build informal and formal teams, aiming to achieve team goals. 
• Effectively evaluate and prioritize various tasks, projects, and demands.
• Openly receive new ideas and other perspectives.
• Take responsibility for accomplishing goals and achieving quality results.
