Your Role

The Pharmacy Triage and Action Group (TAG) supports the pharmacy modular solution in project and issue management, business analysis, and business operations. The Program Manager, Senior will report to the Manager of Pharmacy TAG. In this role you will triage new pharmacy production stabilization issues related to modular solution, provide initial impact assessment, perform root cause analysis, identify impacts and potential solution options, partner with the Pharmacy Production Stabilization team to develop the summary and action plan and drive your assigned tasks to completion. This position works closely with the Pharmacy Production Stabilization team, cross-functionally with other teams within Blue Shield, as well as external vendor partners.

Your Knowledge and Experience

  • Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Requires at least 5 years of prior relevant experience
  • Requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Solid understanding of pharmacy benefit management operations knowledge preferred
  • Requires excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills (developing and providing status reporting, and dashboards) that exhibit a solutions-oriented approach
  • Experience managing external vendors to ensure timely deliverables
  • Experience using MS Office tools including Excel (pivot tables, power query, macros or VLOOKUP) and MS Project
