Job Title: Social Worker / Case worker/ Counselor Duration: Long Term Location: Muncy, PA 17756 Benefits: PTOs + Holidays + Insurance + 401 Pay Rate: $26/hr. on W2 without benefits Shift Details- 8am to 4pm 1/2 hour unpaid lunch Job Description: MAT Program Specialist Requirements: The BCC MAT Program Specialist shall communicate with SCI MAT Program Specialist when reentrants OD in community and are returned to SCI for detox to determine eligibility and appropriateness for MAT. The SCI MAT Program Specialist shall assist with MAT referrals in the community, including setting up and scheduling appointments for medication and treatment. The BCC and SCI MAT Program Specialist shall ensure needs, benefits, and services are obtained in accordance with assigned individuals' treatment plans. MAT Program Specialists shall communicate all treatment planning to Center Staff, SCI Staff, and/or Parole staff. MAT Program Specialists shall subscribe to the MAT/AOD Treatment framework and policies and procedures of the DOC. MAT Program Specialists shall implement and provide social work, counseling, and case management services to individuals to enhance their social functioning and to help them attain a more satisfactory social, economic, or physical adjustment. MAT Program Specialists shall perform in accordance with applicable rules, regulations, policies, and procedures under the general supervision of an administrative supervisor. MAT Program Specialists shall assess offenders' psychosocial strengths, weaknesses, and social work service's needs, and eligibility for services. MAT Program Specialists shall counsel individuals utilizing various treatment modalities. MAT Program Specialists shall discuss assigned individuals' psychosocial assessments and family history in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings. MAT Program Specialists shall present with the following skills: Knowledge of professional social work principles, practices, and methods. Knowledge of professional casework principles, practices, and methods. Knowledge of individual and group behavior. Knowledge of counseling techniques and interventions used to recognize or improve psychosocial, economic, and physiological situations of individuals and families. Education : A Bachelor's in Social Work or Human Service field required.
