About the Role

Culmen International is seeking an International Special Operations Liason Officer Program Support SME to support our customer onsite at MacDill AFB in Tampa, FL.



What You'll Do in Your New Role

The SOCOM J3-International enables the SOF enterprise to enhance interoperability and strengthen
relationships with and among global SOF partners in order to provide strategic options for the United
States and Partner Nations (PN) and serves as an international SOF coordination center. Personnel acts as
Office of Primary Responsibility (OPR) for SOCOM's International Engagement and Visitor Program.

The team also is responsible for reception, personnel services, family and soldier support, and integration of
all PN SOF representatives assigned to HQ SOCOM during their entire assignment. J3-I also manages the
US Special Operations Liaison Officer (SOLO) Program where hand-picked US Special Operators represent
SOCOM to selected allied nation SOF organizations worldwide.



Required Qualifications

    Master's degree in international relations, economics, or related field.
  • Graduate of Dept of State Foreign Service Institute or equivalent U.S. military program of
    instruction.
  • Served as Foreign Service or Foreign Area Officer with 10+ years' experience as a member of
    a U.S. Embassy country team, deployed developmental worker, or other member of Dept. of
    State or U.S. Agency for International Development.
  • 3+ years' experience in a federal agency, GCC, or service headquarters in policy development,
    international agreements, and strategy.
  • 2+ years' experience or academic coursework in negotiations. Acceptable example would be
    experience negotiating Memos of Agreement or Understanding.
  • Active TS Clearance with SCI eligibility
