What will your day look like?

As our newDirector,Data& Analytics, you will join our growing teamof CRM& marketing dataspecialists. Here, you willhelp our clientscollect,analyzeand activate1st-partyand3rd-partydata at scale to create impactful customer experiences that drive measurable business results.You will helpto propose,designand deliver solutions that support customer insights, audience activation,personalizationand measurement of marketing performance.

More specifically, your tasks will include:



  • Bridging technical analytics with business strategy, driving roadmaps for customer data,measurementand audience planning.


  • Consulting with senior clients and internal stakeholders to shape strategies and roadmaps through analytically derived insight and data-driven solutions.


  • Evaluating clients' data landscape, use cases and business requirements to diagnose, recommend, design, and deliver dataand analyticssolutions adding value to CRM programs.


  • Building stakeholder consensus and lead in a matrixed team environment, including senior client relationships.


  • Strategically leading delivery of client data projects in a matrixed team environment, collaborating with a team of highly skilled CRM, data and technology professionals and client relationships.


  • Analyzingclients'prospectand customer data gleaninginsightsinforming experience,contentand performance optimizations.


  • Helping build prototypes and proofs of concepts thattest outkey assumptions and provide a blueprint for production grade solution build and deployment.


  • Designing and managingrobust measurement frameworks, including attribution and in-market testing.


Travel for onsite client and partner agency presence will be required.Specific levels of travel can vary.

You willbe working closelyinprojects with a lot of different people with different professions, both inside and outside of VML MAP. You willbepart of a group of experiencedDataSolutionConsultants andwillworkclosely with colleagues from the other groups in our consulting practice.We strive to have an open collaboration model to optimallyutilizeour total skillsets.

You will also work closely with ourTech and Data specialists,Experience StrategyandClient Engagementleadsto deliver client projects, and you will work directly with our clients, i.e., key stakeholders in the data,marketingand IT organizations of large global companies. You will alsohave the opportunity toengage with our data and technology partners, such as Salesforce, Adobe, Braze, Google, and Snowflake.

Together, we help our clients put in place data solutions that drive business value in a collaborative work environment with a focus on both professionalexpertiseand having fun on the way.

Whatdoyou bring to the table?

You might have a data and technology background and grew into a consulting role, ormaybe youcome from a business background andhavebuilt a strong understanding of data solutions.Nevertheless, it is important that you havestrongcore consulting skills as wellasdata experience and expertise.

Data experience andexpertise



  • You have a degree in data science, digital marketing, computerscienceor similar fields of study, or equivalent work experience in these areas.


  • You are considered an expert in marketing data with deepexpertisein marketing measurement, customer data, andmarketingdata solutionsenabled through analytics.


  • You have experience analyzingbusiness needs, designing, scoping, and delivering data solution projects and services in large organizations.


  • Experience collaborating with and communicatingtotechnical and business audiences alike.

You area leader whoremainseager to learn.You are comfortablewith thecomplexity of high-tech dialogues and solutions. Furthermore, you have the drive,enthusiasmand technical skills to take lead when facing the client in data and insights related matters. Through this, you strive to help and inspire the client to grow their business by combining data insights, performance analytics, and data engineering.It'sanadvantageif you have agency experience and marketing domain knowledge, butit'snot a requirement.

In addition,youhave:



  • A minimum of10-15years in a senior consultant rolewith clientsrelated tomarketingdata,predictive analytics,BIandreporting solutions.


  • An infectious curiosityaround data applicationsfor CRM and customer insight development, AIusecasesand continuous innovation.


  • Comfortable with hands-onwork in technology platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud,AdobeExperienceCloud, Braze, etc.


  • Hands-on experience working withclouddataplatforms,ETL and reporting, data analysis through R,Pythonor other similar toolsets.


  • Experience with database and data model design for business intelligence and analytics solutions is an advantage.


  • Familiarity with multi-touch attribution approaches and techniques involving a range of paid and owned channelsis an advantage.


  • Experience with Google Insights/Google Analytics, Google Cloud Platform/BigQuery, Adobe Analytics and Salesforceisan advantage.


  • Workedin a globally distributed team structureinvolving multiple time zones and work cultures


  • Great communicationskills in English.
