The UHS Acute Physician Recruitment Department is seeking a dedicated and proactive Physician Recruiter to support our facilities in identifying and recruiting top physician talent. In this role, you will manage the full-cycle physician recruitment process, from sourcing qualified candidates to coordinating communications with hospitals and candidates through to successful placement.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Identify candidates using UHS-provided internal and external resources
  • Maintain regular communication with facility CEOs or designated recruitment staff to obtain relevant information and receive guidance on assignments
  • Initiate and manage the full-cycle physician recruitment process for assigned hospitals
  • Manage job postings promptly on physician-specific internet job sites used by the department
  • Accurately and timely record all recruitment activities in the departmental database and shared drive documents
  • Develop and execute sourcing projects such as direct mail, internet campaigns, and calling initiatives as needed
  • Support miscellaneous recruitment-related tasks including industry research on physician recruitment trends, compensation data, physician demographics, and visa sponsorship eligibility
  • Coordinate interactions with external vendors and service representatives, including staffing firms, advertising agents, and professional organizations
  • Represent UHS at physician job fairs, specialty education conferences, and residency program presentations as assigned

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 3 - 5 years' system or company level Physician recruitment experience.

  • Skilled in managing candidate and client contact databases efficiently

  • Proficient with internet job boards including posting, updating, and revising job listings

  • Experienced in using Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced mail merge capabilities

  • Extensive experience sourcing qualified candidates via multiple channels: internet job boards, cold and warm lead calls, targeted direct mail campaigns, and email blasts

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, emphasizing accuracy and clarity in all correspondence

  • Willingness to travel occasionally to events such as job fairs and physician conferences
