About the Role We are seeking a Member Relationship Officer I to deliver exceptional member experiences and build lasting relationships. In this role, you will assist members with consumer lending, new accounts, digital services, account maintenance, and transaction processing. You'll uncover member needs, educate them on products and services, and recommend tailored solutions. Key Responsibilities * Build and maintain strong member relationships through proactive conversations and anticipating future needs. * Interview loan applicants and provide underwriting information for loan decisions. * Open and maintain deposit accounts and related services. * Process member transactions and account maintenance accurately and confidentially. * Educate members on loan products, insurance options, and financial solutions. * Achieve assigned sales and service goals. * Provide financial guidance and refer members to specialized teams (Mortgage Lending, Investment Services, etc.). Qualifications * Required: * Minimum 1 year of sales and service experience. * 2+ years of customer-facing experience. * Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and active listening). * Proven attention to detail and ability to work efficiently. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar software. * Preferred: * Financial industry experience (account opening, consumer lending). * Financial Counselor Certification. * Bilingual (Spanish/English). Ideal Candidate * Proven sales experience with examples of meeting or exceeding goals. * Experience in financial services or banking (Personal Banker, Relationship Banker, Universal Banker). * Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and ability to articulate solutions clearly. Work Environment & Schedule * Branch Hours: Mon-Fri 8:00 AM-5:30 PM; Sat 9:00 AM-12:00 PM (every 3rd Saturday). * Business casual dress code. * Two openings: Lawe St. and Northland Ave. locations in Appleton, WI.
