The Koman Family Outpatient Pavilion is an outpatient clinical facility on UC San Diego Health's La Jolla campus. The facility includes eight surgery suites, performs surgical services in Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, Total Joints, Urology, Plastics, general, Breast Oncology, Head and Neck, ENT, Gynecology, Pain Management, Family Planning and Robotic surgery. The four-floor, 156,000-square-foot facility opened in March 2018. The Clinical Nurse identifies and implements nursing interventions and evaluates results for a wide variety of patient populations, directs and acts as resource to other members of the nursing team as assigned and promotes compliance and support for policies. Autonomous nursing care is the ability of a nurse to assess and provide nursing actions as appropriate for patient care populations based on competence, professional expertise, and knowledge. The nurse is expected to practice autonomously consistent with ANA Standards of Practice and Professional Performance. Independent judgment is expected to be exercised within the context of interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary approaches to patient care. Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $131,335 - $184,078 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $62.90 - $88.16 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable). | |
