Introduction to the job

Your Assignment:

The major task of the role is to use existing tool to generate a library of rigorously simulated (FDTD) images for machine learning modeling. He or she will get familiar with optical models and explore methods for improvement.

  • Get familiar with the automation tool, analyze the results.
  • Participate the discussion of improvement of Tachyon product.
  • Further improve the automation tool and add more functionality to meet the need of data analysis.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and experience
  • M.S. or Ph.D. in electrical engineering, physics, chemical engineering, IC manufacturing or process technology related field
  • Script level programming skills - intermediate to advance level of experience / knowledge using Python.
  • Experience or knowledge conducting data analysis and gathering data for reports.
  • Basic statistic knowledge required.
  • Knowledge of rigorous optical / electrical magnetic wave simulation (FDTD - finite difference time domain or RCWA - Rigorous Coupled Wave Analysis) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of machine learning is a plus.
