What you will do:

  • Ensure that all relevant programs abide by applicable industry and Enbridge standards and specifications.

  • Work with shared service functions, project controls, safety, quality, and construction, to ensure that each program is completed in a safe, efficient manner and customer expectations are achieved.

  • Assign tasks by conveying clear expectation for assignments, removing obstacles to move forward and get efforts back on track, seek additional resources to complete tasks when needed and delegate assignments to the most appropriate person.

  • Collaborate with program sponsors to develop efficient multiyear program schedules.

  • Continue to provide program sponsors with high level of customer service and satisfaction by sharing program status, changes, and key performance indicators (KPI's).

  • Accomplish team goals, by creating opportunities to promote and recognize teams' contributions. Identify action steps needed to accomplish team or work group objectives. Prioritize and balances time, actions, resources, and initiatives to ensure results are achieved.

Who you are:

  • Engineering degree.

  • 7 years of related experience.

  • Experience of facility or tank engineering and construction is preferred.

  • Solid understanding of project management methods and techniques. Project Management certification (PMI) is an asset.

  • Well-developed problem solving, decision-making, organization, planning and leadership skills.

  • A collaborative, teamwork style.

  • Role requires a valid driver's license, which will be verified with a motor vehicle check prior to hire.

  • Note this role requires a valid passport and ability to work and travel between the US and Canada.

Working Conditions:

  • Office environment with some field work required.

  • Scheduled travel to Enbridge offices, operating facilities, construction sites, and supplier facilities up to 25%.

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Mental Requirements (Both Field & Office) include but are not limited to:

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.

US Only Summary:

Salary - $112,500 - $165,000/year USD
