Opportunity Details:

• Provide overall clinical and administrative leadership for the Infectious Disease service at Kings County Hospital.

• Ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care in alignment with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and PAGNY standards.

• Lead and promote quality improvement, patient safety, and performance enhancement initiatives within the service.

• Assist with physician staffing, scheduling, and coverage to ensure continuous, high-quality patient care.

• Support the education, mentorship, and professional development of Infectious Disease staff.

• Current and unrestricted New York State Medical License
• Board Certification - Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Board Certification - Infectious Disease

Wages and Benefits include:

AnnualBase Salary: $260,000* based on 40-hour work week.Additionalcompensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.

The annual total value of compensation package is estimated at $286,000**, which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, and other factors as set forth below:

• 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):

  • Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.

  • After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
