The Role:

The Valet Attendant is responsible for the safe driving, parking, and retrieval of patrons' vehicles from the designated valet parking lot. The Lead Valet Attendant is also responsible for the supervision of the Valet Attendants. The Lead Valet Attendant is to be responsive to the needs of the patrons by transporting their vehicle in a safe, timely, friendly and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:



  • Participate regularly in departmental and company meetings.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, and always treat others with respect.
  • Properly and safely operate all motor vehicles accepted.
  • Inspect all motor vehicles for damage prior to taking custody and recording any previous damage
  • Ensure safety of motor vehicles while in The Queen's custody.
  • Observe all relevant traffic laws
  • Ensure the security of patrons' vehicles while in The Queen's custody
  • Ensure all departmental documents are accurate, legible and complete
  • Effectively record and/or resolve patron complaints
  • Maintain all equipment of Valet Department
  • Keep entire work area clean and free from debris during assigned shift
  • Set up designated work area as directed
  • Learn and follow all rules, laws, regulations, and policies pertaining to the Guest Services department
  • Must be able to apply knowledge gained from training, education and work experience
  • Must be friendly and courteous at all times
  • Must be able to apply customer service standards as directed
  • Other duties as assigned



Qualifications:



  • 2 years as a valet attendant in a high volume work environment, preferred
  • High School Diploma/GED, required
  • Must have valid state driver's license and in good standing
  • Able to effectively communicate verbally and written in English
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an Illinois Gaming License
  • Ability to stand and walk for an extended period of time
  • Must be okay with frequent exposure of outdoor climates

Target Compensation:



  • $10.00 per Hour
