Salary/Grade: EXS/5

Target hiring range for this position will be between $52,346 - $60,539 per year. Offered salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

Job Summary:

Provides management for an education, research &/or operations program/project, recommending goals, assessing feasibility and ongoing performance & providing day-to-day oversight of administrative & operational functions.

The Recruiting and Admissions Coordinator strategically partners with the Academic Directors and Office of Professional Education leadership in all aspects of the admissions process, contributing to attracting world-class candidates. This role will help design, plan, execute, and launch continuous efforts to maintain and improve competitiveness. This includes driving and supporting strategic outreach, evaluation and yield related activities. This role may require the ability to travel domestically.

Specific Responsibilities:

Administration

  • Manages day to day operations.
  • Ensures that program/project mission, values, guidelines, policies & procedures are implemented & maintained.
  • Manages design and development of program databases; compiles & analyzes data; prepares reports.
  • Reviews processes and recommends changes to incorporate state-of-the-art technology as appropriate into administrative, recruitment, marketing, and educational components.
  • Identifies service improvement opportunities that will better enable program/project to achieve its goals and objectives.

Communication, Outreach & Recruitment

  • Incorporates social media and networking into program/project aspects as appropriate.
  • Strengthens partnerships with external resources by defining, promoting and marketing benefits of participation and involvement to the organization.
  • Creates and nurtures relationships with organizations to develop a network of enthusiastic organizations engaged via active participation in the success of program/project.
    • Collaborate with the Marketing & Communications Team to design and execute marketing and communications campaigns and to monitor results.
      • Collaborates closely with Marketing to plan and execute recruiting and yield events, including selecting venues, coordinating logistics, securing volunteers, assisting with content development, and event execution.
      • Coordinates student ambassador program
      • Partners with Outreach Team to conduct ROI event analysis.
      • Manage all communication around events promotions

Evaluation

  • Observes program sessions and interacts with participants for the purpose of gaining consumer insight, growing and strengthening program knowledge, and optimizing client satisfaction.
  • Coordinates the collection, analysis & reporting of required information for surveys, review documents, public information documents, etc.

Events

  • Coordinates programming, educational, student, alumni, workshops, meetings, etc. including speakers, agendas, etc.
  • Ensures that event details including communication, venues, presenters, travel arrangements, materials, refreshments and technology are arranged and completed in an appropriate and timely manner.

Program Development

  • Manages program/project curriculum, seminars, presentations, workshops, learning experiences, chat rooms, websites, social networking, etc. based on goals/objectives.
  • Identifies & obtains external expertise as needed and works with content experts for current and new programs.
  • Reviews programs/projects to increase efficiencies to support growth.
  • Manages speaker selection, communication, and topic development.
  • Leads program/project updates and improvements.

Strategic Planning

  • Administers & maintains existing strategic plans.
  • Participates with area/unit senior staff in the conceptualization, development and presentation of materials used in functional operations.

Student Support

  • Advises students regarding admissions
  • Reads & evaluates admissions files and participates in candidate selection.
  • Interviews and screens applicants.
  • Serves as primary point of contact and the "face" of OPE programs for prospective students. Has extensive contact with prospective students through one-on-one interactions and structured recruitment activities, including:
    • Conducting one-on-one Admissions Chat meetings with prospective students
    • Coordinating and presenting information sessions onsite, virtually, or at corporate locations
    • Staffing career/graduate school fairs, conferences, and related events
    • Coordinating campus/class visits for prospective students
    • Conducting outreach to applicants
    • Managing admitted students throughout the yield process
    • Managing waitlisted students
  • Supporting incoming students through the matriculation process by facilitating transitions with the Program Teams and other departments

Miscellaneous

Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelor's or higher degree; OR appropriate combination of education and experience.

  • 1 year program/project administration or other relevant experience.
