Advanced Storage IT Specialist

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field; or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

Resolving a wide range of issues in creative ways, the Advanced Storage IT Specialist may design and develop data storage systems, processes and enhancements for company's complex high traffic, business critical internet site communications and/or network-based (cloud) product systems. You may also lead the design of enterprise storage environments, including enterprise storage arrays, fiber channel switches and Network Attached Storage (NAS) physical and virtual tape devices along with developing solutions and processes for reliable and stable data storage management, security, backup, restoration, archiving and replication. We'll expect you to assist with the implementation of new or additional storage technology to improve infrastructure service locally and remotely. • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
• Working knowledge of creating and running scripts to automate repetitive processes
• Practical knowledge of access, permissions and security related to backup and/or storage systems

Target salary range: USD $103,254.00/Yr. - USD $111,724.00/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.
