The Opportunity Embry-Riddle is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist who is motivated by purpose and energized by working in a campus culture built on collaboration, relationship-building, and responsiveness. Position Summary The Environmental Health and Safety Specialist provides both administrative and field support for ERAU's expanding safety and environmental programs. This position blends structured office responsibilities with daily campus engagement, safety walkthroughs, and hands-on interaction with labs, shops, and operational units. Work includes supporting chemical approvals, assisting with the AED program, coordinating safety tasks across the university, maintaining records and inventories, and occasionally assisting the Hazardous Waste Technician in field operations. The role is ideal for someone early in their EHS career who is ready to grow, contribute, and become a trusted resource to the campus community.
