• Work Arrangement: 100% on-site
• Pay Rate: $46.06 per hour

Daily Tasks

• Support and improve assembly and machining controls architectures across automated manufacturing systems
• Program, troubleshoot, and optimize Siemens PLC, CNC, and motion control systems
• Diagnose and resolve automation issues involving PLCs, CNCs, robotics, vision systems, and integrated equipment
• Collaborate on machining cell integration, including CNC controls, gantries, RFID systems, and auxiliary equipment
• Interpret and modify core controls specifications from early cost studies through launch
• Design, read, and update electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics
• Apply international electrical and safety standards while supporting risk assessments and integrated safety processes
• Work with manufacturing IT and standard footprint applications to support plant systems and data flow
• Contribute to program delivery milestones, ensuring controls readiness and launch success

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent engineering experience
• Strong foundation in controls engineering with the ability to quickly learn and apply new systems
• Hands-on experience with PLC and/or CNC controls in assembly or machining environments
• Proficiency in programming, troubleshooting, and system integration
• Ability to read and develop electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic prints
• Understanding of communication networks and fieldbus protocols
• Familiarity with international electrical and safety standards (UL, ISO, IEC)
• Strong programming, technical writing, and program management skills
