The Department of Public Health Sciences in the School of Medicine at the University of Virginia (UVA) is currently seeking a motivated public health and/or behavioral science professional to act as a Research Interventionist to support the execution of community-based research projects related to obesity, and cancer. This position is with Dr. Becca Krukowski's team and in affiliation with the UVA's Community-Based Health Equity Research Program and the UVACCC Cancer Prevention and Population Health (CPH) Program. The Research Interventionist will be responsible for implementing various intervention components such as:
These tasks will occur on a recurring basis, estimated at 5-10 hrs/week. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education: Bachelor's degree required. Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience required. Licensure: None. Preferred Qualifications:
This is a wage position which is not eligible for leave or other benefits and is limited to 1500 hours of work in a year.
