Job Title: Practice Coordinator

Location(s): San Francisco, CA

Role Summary
The Practice Coordinator will support the GU Service Line in a back-office capacity, with a strong focus on complex scheduling functions. This role requires prior experience in a similar clinical environment and demonstrated proficiency with APeX.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform back-office administrative and coordination duties for the clinic.
  • Schedule surgeries and chemotherapy appointments (highly preferred experience).
  • Cross-cover the department's main phone line as needed.
  • Coordinate schedules with clinical teams to ensure timely and accurate patient care workflows.
  • Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic health record system (APeX).
Required Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience in a clinical practice or healthcare coordination role.
  • Proven experience with surgery scheduling; chemotherapy scheduling experience strongly preferred.
  • Prior hands-on experience using APeX (required).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Professional communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a clinical team.
Additional Details
  • This role is not a call center position, though cross-coverage of the department main line is required.
  • No temp-to-perm conversion anticipated.
Assignment Notes Candidates must meet all required qualifications to be considered. This is an onsite assignment at a single campus for the duration of the contract.
